Fall Clean-Up Announced for October 16

49. Fall Cleanup 2023

The Aledo City Council established the dates for the Fall City-wide Clean-up Days. The City will furnish collection services for large items placed at your curbside by 4:00 a.m. on Monday, October 16th. One (1) pick-up truck load per household will be allowed.

No landscape items (yard waste, brush, limbs); or automobile related items (oils/lubricants, batteries, tires) will be accepted.   Large items in excess of 50 pounds will not be collected.

Appliance tags may be purchased at City Hall for $5.00 for each appliance.  This tag will need to be attached to the appliance or it will not be picked up.   Appliance tags can be purchased anytime of the year, not just during clean-up days.

TVs are not allowed in landfills and will not be picked up.   Please continue to use the e-cycle service that is offered on the first (1st) and third (3rd) Thursday of each month from 9:00 a.m. – Noon and 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. for all electronic items, TVs and paint recycling.  For a complete list of e-cycle goods, please follow the link https://www.aledoil.gov/243/E-Cycle.   E-cycle & paint services are currently located at the City Garage at 309 East Main Street.
