Heads up, Aledo! During the months of May and June, the Aledo Water Department will conduct routine hydrant flushing throughout the city. These tests will take place between 8 am and 3 pm. Hydrants to the east of College Ave will be flushed during May and those to the west of College Ave will be flushed during June.
Residents may experience a temporary drop in water pressure or slight discoloration of the water during these tests, which is normal. To flush the discoloration from your water, turn on an outside faucet before cooking or cleaning.
