Welcome to the Aledo Police Department website. We use this site to provide information about the department, its officers, and the programs available to the community through the department. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Police service can be obtained 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 309-582-2331. In an emergency, always call "911."
Programs & Services
The Aledo Police Department provides a wide array of programs and services to our residents, businesses and guests. Those services are offered through community - oriented policing strategies, problem - oriented policing programs, and professional uniformed patrol and crime prevention details. We strive every day to maintain the quality of life for our residents, to reduce crime and eliminate safety hazards in our community, and to enhance the experience of our guests.
Department Makeup
Currently, there are 7 full-time officers, 5 part-time officers, an administrative assistant and a number of auxiliary police officers who make this department function. We are a part of this community. We depend on the close relationship we have with the community to help us provide the services, information and protection on which the City of Aledo depends. We strive to provide fair enforcement, open information and friendly service to everyone who lives in, works in, or visits Aledo.
