About the Department

Welcome to the Office of the City Clerk. The municipal clerk is one of the oldest government professions. For centuries the municipal clerk has performed the archival functions of the governing body. The Clerk serves as the direct link between the citizens and their government and is the historian of the community and its people, for the entire recorded history of the government's actions are in the care of your City Clerk.


The City Clerk provides a historical record, delivers the City Council agenda, serves City Council and the Citizens, attests to all official documents and maintains the highest standards of customer service.
